We are a community-driven fire protection association serving the rural and communal areas of Mnquma and Mbhashe Local Municipalities in the Eastern Cape.
MMFPA exists to prevent, manage, and respond to veld and forest fires, while strengthening local capacity, protecting livelihoods, and safeguarding natural resources. Our work is rooted in cooperation — between communities, traditional leadership, municipalities, and national government.
